This project was done a while ago as a gift for a friend. He had posted a link on his Facebook for this Jack Sparrow tattoo etched bottle, asking for it in a half joking half serious manner. Not only was it a semi-expensive piece, it was sold out. Also, it seemed an easy enough project to execute, so after acquiring some Armour Etch, masking tape, and a couple of clean alcohol bottles, I made my own etched bottles.

Paid for DIY

I posted up on my Facebook that I was willing to make handmade items for a fee.  And I got more feedback than I expected: custom drawn Converse shoes, two wallets, a black crochet hat, a scarf, two altered shirts, and a few other things were requested.  This should be fun.

SATUR D-I-Y: clock

I've been wanting a good looking analog clock for my room for quite some time now. And although I did see an easy and cool looking wooden clock on homedit , I stumbled upon this cute looking book clock. It's sold on Amazon for about 25 bucks. Not only does it looks pretty easy to make, the reviews for this clock aren't all too great, all the more incentive to make it yourself.  I've already taken apart a simple clock that we haven't used in a while, and I intend to use it for this project. More on that later, I'll try to make it a point to create my own DIY's instead of posting other people's tutorials.
