Hmmm

I haven't posted anything in a while. My attention span is weird, first I'll be super into a project, then after a while I start to lose interest, only for the interest to come full force again some time later. Blogging is in that decline of my interest right now. I've just been on a making spree as of late. Hats, scarves, paintings, bracelets, and a whole lot of other DIY goodness.

I also need to improve my blogging style. Hmm, perhaps I should make that one of my New Years resolution.

Happy New Year to everyone!

S-A-T-U-R DIY: christmas gifts

I haven't been blogging in a while, for I've been much too busy making gifts for everyone. I've embroidered sweaters for a few of my lucky guy friends, and for some of my girl friends I've created backless sweaters for them. Hand-knotted guy friendly jewelry was made for some other guy friends, and one lucky guy is getting a hat with a crocheted "beard" facewarmer. And everyone got a small sackful of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies (with nuts fresh off my friend's tree and cracked open by yours truly), chocolate dipped macaroons, and chocolate bark with toffee bits and crushed pretzals. I guess I didn't realize how much my friends would appreciate a handmade gift, but everyone loved their present.

Happy Holiday's everyone, Merry Christmas, and all that jazz.

Wool Felt Succulents

For anyone with a black thumb, these plants will never die! And they're just darling.

This is just about the coolest thing I have ever seen. If you haven't noticed already, I'm a sucker for anything green, leafy, and wooden.

I basically copied all these pictures off of Colossal's website, but I just couldn't help myself. This is the most ingenious work or artistic machinery I have ever seen. Can I have one for Christmas?
